Fantastic house, pool, & furnish. Definitely rented this house way more than I thought I would. Really enjoyed my stay. Couldn’t be happier with the host & the house.

3rd time staying here :) . Love Mazen's home's he is very responsive, always making sure you get your moneys worth and honest. I originally booked a stay for 1 night but decided to add an additional day a week before our arrival. I didn't even think about a double booking of cleaning fees or service fees until Mazen privately messaged me about the additional fees being charged to me since i added an additional day. Kudos to him for even pointing it out to me. I thought that was very honest of him and i was able to get the funds refunded to my account. As always he has a great home secluded by the city with 5 acres that is great if you are a dog owner and like to take your pets with you. There's also a goody basket on the dining room table that you will see upon your arrival which is very thoughtful. The pool is huge and a must when visiting the desert. I will always come back to Mazen home for now on when planning a visit to Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree. Thanks Mazen :)

Me and my friends stay there, we had a wonderful time, the pool is so much better than it looks at the pictures. We were swimming at night there was not a problem. It is a really clean and lovely house.

If you want to be remote, this is a great place for it. We enjoyed the quiet. The pool was a nice touch after a long day of hiking. Had all the creature comforts we needed. Do bring your own drinking water, we weren't sure it was necessary, but it is highly recommended.

Highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the desert views and amazing sunset! Very clean and organized house! We had a great stay with a group of friends and the pool was awesome on a hot afternoon.

This place was even better than expected. It has a huge territory and we were outside on the patio most of the time, walking around and swimming in the pool.

This is my 2nd time staying at Mazen's place. The place is huge! It's exactly what our group once looking for. Big, quiet, and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place and will love to stay here again.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for! Last minute trip for my husbands birthday to Joshua Tree. Mazen was a great host in responding to me so quickly, he even surprised us with an awesome cake for my husband!! The pictures did not show off the fireplace in the living room, that was great after a cold day hiking! Thanks again, we will absolutely stay again and I recommend to others.

Great place for a real outdoor experience. Had a great time, campfire guitar and good company in a place worth every cent

The place was as advertised. Quiet location, dog friendly, lots of space and close to JT. My only complaint would be the minimal supplies provided (garbage bags, paper towel, dish detergent, etc.). That being said, we can’t wait to come back!

Place was great. Would stay again

Our family and friends will cherish our stay at the Desert Gem. The home is spacious and top notch clean. The beds were very comfortable, and plenty of towels for the bath as well. We greatly enjoyed the ping pong table, and we had great WiFi throughout home. The kitchen is huge, wish mine was half as nice. The sunsets on the patio are one of a kind, you can't hear a thing / zero noise, and the views are amazing. We highly recommend a stay here, and will most suely will return!

Great spot to stay when visiting Joshua Tree. Very remote location with nice amenities.
